ten florals up

vintage floral kimono (similar)  |  VS white tank  |  lace trimmed shorts  |  H&M metallic sandals (very similar)

A quick post right after the Memorial Day weekend, while most of you are at the beach, barbecues or barbecues on beaches - I'm at home starting (and getting obsessed) with Mad Men, which is an incredible show but definitely not for everyone.

On another note...I have to thank all of you that read my blog, I've hit 200 followers on GF. I appreciate each and every one of you. It's a huge milestone for me personally. I hope you guys enjoy my outfits so far and I've got big things to come, so stay tuned. I sincerely mean it. I love all of ya'll.

casual bunday

Photos taken by my sister.

Rayban aviators  |  UO printed dress (worn as shirt)  |  vintage Levi cutoffs (I go gaga for these)  |  H&M sandals  |  cat-ears ring c/o Oasap

This is me, feeling bleh during finals week with a super-casual outfit from a couple days ago, complete with all the spring essentials - aviators, Levi cutoffs, and my new metallic sandals. Accessorized a little with a cute cat ear ring from Oasap and my go-to Ann Taylor bag. I thought it'd be cool to show you guys what I look like when I'm not in the big, bad city, stomping around in neon heels and running around photographing with Landon. Back to the grind, ya'll - tomorrow's my last final so wish me luck!

In the midst of studying for finals, I was surprised with a package from SheInside and inside was this beautiful floral chiffon shirt - I just couldn't wait to wear it, hence, the slight wrinkles on the shirt. It reminds me of a Hawaiian shirt gone mainstream with its coral colors and familiar floral pattern. It's such an easy piece to style and if you see me in the summer - chances are, I'll probably be wearing this shirt with some form of denim cutoffs and wayfarers. Don't judge me, it's summer.

double dipped in neon

Boyfriend jeans and a T-shirt may sound like a weekend, casual, stay-at-home outfit. But throw on some minimal neon heels and a statement necklace and boy, you've got an outfit. The dip-dye detailing doesn't hurt either. I can't get enough of minimalistic shoes, if you've been following my blog, you'll know just what I mean. Onto more important issues, I just need these next two weeks to be over so that summer 2012 can officially begin!

1. Stella McCartney The Hawaiian shirt - perfected.
2. Kimberly Ovitz Everything you could ask for in a white skirt.
3. Sam Edelman There you go again, Sam. Stealin' my heart as always.
4. Alexander Wang I mean...it's Wang. Need I say more?
5. ASOS Spiked earrings for a tough chic touch. (That was a mouthful)

Oh - is it my birthday yet? Well now, I'll just leave a couple of ideas for you here...

asymmetric flow

UO sheer button down  |  c/o Three Dots silk floral asymmetric skirt (the dress version)  |  Zara rose gold heels  (gorg here)

Midi skirts weren't really my thing until I slipped this Three Dots silk floral number on. The slight asymmetric detail really sold me. They don't have the skirt available online, but they've got the same gorgeous version in a dress, with the same asymmetric flow! Check out their site, trust me, you won't be sorry. They've got the perfect basics and some pretty unique pieces, like this perfect silk trench that I'm dying for. If any of you guys really love the skirt, feel free to email me (on the sidebar) and I can direct you to someone who can help you.

Forgive these photos, there was just so much wind in this little empty parking lot that I had to keep moving to keep the skirt in check! By the way, today's Mother's day so I hope all of you guys gave your mom a hug, a kiss, flowers and some chocolate, because God knows she deserves it.

big star usa

Photos always by FashionGoggled

Thrifted floral blazer (similar here)  |  thrifted DIY studded button down (neeeed this one)  |  c/o Big Star jeans  |  Senso shoes

This post should appropriately be named two days of Big Star Jeans, because I will shamefully (not really) admit that I wore this pair of jeans two days in a row. But can ya blame me? The wash is literally perfectly faded in all the right places. The jeans are a little short for little ol' me, but hey, cuffed jeans are my thing. Check out their website, it's newly revamped and so freakin' interactive. And plus - do I spy Francisco Lebowski? I hope you clicked both of them links, you won't regret it.

I also attended the Big Star Jeans Summer Social on Tuesday and guess what ya'll - there was a photobooth! So naturally, I went a little wild with it and took a bajillion - yes, I counted - pictures and these 4 are just a few of all the crazy that went on that night in front of that camera. I tried to pick the cutest and the funniest photos to showoff. Met some great people, the Big Star team, some awesome bloggers and there was also an insane DIY station where we made, from scratch might I add, collars from denim scraps. It was glorious - will show you guys soon.

minimal floral flair

Photos by partner in crime, Landon (legit love him)

Zara floral shirt (trust me on this one)  |  H&M skirt  |  Baggu leather pouch (here)  |  Sam Edelman sandals (here)

Ya'll should already know that my floral obsession has gone way through the roof, and with this Zara shirt that I wore in this post, you guys didn't see its full blinding effect. I wore it with a plain black skirt, which incidentally, I didn't own until recently. You'd think that a black skirt would be a closet staple, but nope. I chose to purchase a crazy printed floral shirt before a black skirt. And yes people, I bought another pair of Sam Edelmans, after the post where I wore the Yelenas, I debated for a real long time about whether or not to get these bad boys. And at less than $100 - I just couldn't help myself.

Last couple by me.

F21 skinnys  |  H&M tank (kinda want this one)  |  Ann Taylor crossbody  |  H&M neon necklace

Not the most attractive jumping picture of me, but then again, are there any attractive jumping pictures? Woop - there goes that neon necklace again, which was recently featured on Socialyte.Co among some pretty great company like the Brooklyn Blonde and On the Racks. I threw on a tailored, black blazer for an event at the Culinary Loft in Soho where McDonald's (yes, McDonald's) hosted an exquisite dinner inspired by the new berry flavors in their new summer menu. I was among 25 fashion and lifestyle bloggers - such as Wendy from Nitrolicious - to taste unique flavors in three courses curated by an Iron Chef and I must say, he did not disappoint. The dessert as always, was my favorite, warm, moist chocolate molten cake with raspberry glaze and salted homemade whipped cream. Being the newly 21 year old that I am, I also had a refreshing cocktail of blueberry vodka, raspberry juice and some other good stuff - oh, the good life.
